Welder 1st Shift – 4 Day Work Week

Our customers count on us to laser cut, form, weld, powder coat, and assemble for the highest level of product quality that reflects their own. We are currently looking for 1st Shift Welders at our Little Chute and Appleton WI Locatons. There will be a Weld Test during the in person interview.

SUMMARY
This position is responsible for operating welding equipment to build high-quality parts, subassemblies, and finished product. Weldments vary in type, size, and direction and are performed on a variety of production lines.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Operate an overhead crane to maneuver parts safely into place
Adjust welding current to proper weld configurations
Heats and forms metal parts and components using hand tools, torch, or welding equipment
Welds components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions
Accurately operate and read measuring devices
Assemble and weld various metal parts together
Properly position material/parts to be welded
Train and work in various areas of production in response to production demands
Follow verbal and written work instructions including the ability to read blueprints
Attention to detail necessary to adhere to quality standards
Maintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
Work in both team and individual settings
Regular attendance required
All other duties and responsibilities that are assigned

BASIC PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS

High School Diploma or GED
1+ year(s) of welding experience in the manufacturing industry
Welding Certification through an educational institution
Lift up to 50 pounds at a time
Ability to weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions.
Lift objects up to 50 pounds throughout the day
Perform repetitive work more than 8 hours per day and weekends
Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
Using hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning, and moving materials, and manipulating things.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 – $23.00 per hour
