Warehouse Worker

Roles and Responsibilities
Safety/ Number 0. 0 Safety issues or incidents
Know and follow safe operating procedures at all times
Specifically: battery handling, green standard, forklift certification, etc.
Report any accidents or safety violations
Receiving
Physically inspect and verify all incoming shipments against POs; report discrepancies/issues
Put away incoming shipments in timely manner, same day when possible
Includes new batteries AND lead shipments
Inventory Management
Execute First-In-First-Out inventory process and stock rotation
Assist with weekly cycle counts and quarterly full counts
Report all necessary reclassifications, etc.
Shipping/ Number 100. 100% order accuracy # off pick errors compared to total sales
Order picking: pick all incoming orders prior to due date
Quality Control: each layer picked must be checked and approved by MANAGER
Truck Accounting
AM: help with truck/van loading batteries and counting; ensure TAR accuracy
PM: unload batteries and verify cores, rotates, adjustments (types of batteries)
Count truck and ensure TAR accuracy
Rotate, Adjustment and Econo Processing/ Number X. TBD Econos produced
Charge, clean and put away Rotates (batteries) same day
Check, charge and process adjustments (batteries) as instructed
Charge, clean, check and put away Econos (batteries) as instructed. Maximizing yield and quality
Core Processing/ Number 4. 4-year date range for potentials
Sort through ALL cores (batteries) received, looking for potential Econos and warranties
Restack and wrap remaining cores according to IBSA Green Standard
Warehouse Cleaning
Conduct Warehouse cleanup with floor machine at least 2x per week
Empty all trashcans daily/as needed, pick up all lose items off floor
General warehouse upkeep/maintenance

Pay: $35,000.00 – $45,000.00 per year
