Starbucks Barista – Empire Outlets

We are looking for Baristas to prepare and serve hot and cold beverages, including various types of coffee and tea. Barista responsibilities include educating guests on our drink menu, making recommendations based on their preferences, up-selling specific items and taking orders. To be successful in this role, exceptional guest service skills are required. You should be able to work various shifts. Note: this position’s compensation includes hourly pay and tips. Ultimately, you’ll ensure an excellent experience for our guests.
Responsibilities

Greet guests as they enter
Offer guests specific choices and provide menu education.
Take orders with attention to detail and mini conversations
Prepare beverages following recipes
Hand off beverages and warm prepared foods
Receive and process payments (cash and credit cards)
Maintain a clean environment
Comply with health and safety regulations
Communicate guest feedback to management

Skills

Previous work experience as a Barista preferred
Hands-on experience with brewing equipment
Flexibility to work various shifts
Excellent communication skills
Working with a sense of urgency
