Pediatric Occupational Therapist

Part Time

Website Progressive Pediatrics Therapy, PC

Progressive Pediatrics Therapy is expanding, and we are looking for qualified candidates to join our team of highly experienced therapists. We are seeking occupational therapists to provide services in our multidisciplinary, state-of-the-art, Northbrook facility. For nearly 20 years we have been providing services to children and young adults with a wide variety of developmental challenges.
The positions are available for independent contractors, however regular part-time employment may be considered, with the potential for moving to full-time. The weekday hours are mostly flexible, but availability to work during peak clinic times (after school hours) would be necessary. Saturdays and Sundays are also available for a candidate seeking to do solely weekend hours or to add to weekday hours.
Core responsibilities include conducting comprehensive evaluations – including excellent writing skills, individual treatment sessions, and working closely with families for carry-over of home programs. Experience working collaboratively with other professionals is also necessary. There are opportunities to provide interdisciplinary services with other clinicians in co-treatment sessions, as well as through co-leading multidisciplinary groups. The potential also exists to provide direct or consultative services in several local therapeutic day schools.
If you are motivated to join a team that prides itself on providing the highest quality services, in a family-focused therapy center, we want to hear from you!
