Occupational Therapist OTR/L or COTA

Compass Therapy Solutions is currently hiring an Occupational Therapist to serve Early Childhood and K-12 students for the 2022-2023 school year.
Responsibilities

Supervision of COTA, as applicable

Consulting with parents, school/District staff, physicians, medical equipment vendors, ordering appropriate adaptive equipment

Diagnostic evaluations, Screenings
Small group, in class or individual therapy with identified students
Record keeping for student attendance for therapy
Completion of progress reports and therapy notes.
Attendance and participation in required multidisciplinary team meetings, including IEP meetings as needed
Preparation of paperwork related to eligibility and discontinuation/dismissal meetings
Participation in school-based response to intervention activities,
Attendance at approved District in-service meetings, as requested,

Skills

Proven working experience as occupational therapist
Excellent knowledge of principles and practices of occupational therapy
Excellent interpersonal communication skills
Applicant must have a current license to practice OT in the state of Missouri
BS degree or greater in occupational therapy
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
