Our client is seeking a Medical Malpractice & Prisoner Civil Litigation Attorney to work out of their Philadelphia office (hybrid). The ideal candidate will be proactive and have prior experience in defense side litigation and specific experience in liability or related practice area. Knowledge of federal and state statutes, rules, and procedures of Pennsylvania is required. Must have excellent organizational, research and written and verbal communication skills. The ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment is also required.

RESPONSIBILITIES Consulting with clients to ascertain the details and merits of each case. Conducting research using legislation, case law, and other legal texts as sources to decide on a modus operandi. Drafting legal texts, including reports, pleadings, motions, and appeals. Representing clients at meetings, hearings and trials. Ensuring that data obtained during interactions with clients remain confidential and are stored securely. Reporting on billable hours spent on each assignment. Remaining abreast of changes to legislation. REQUIREMENTS J.D. from an accredited law school. License to practice law in Pennsylvania. 2-5 years’ experience in medical malpractice and prisoner civil litigation defense. Excellent analytical and research abilities required. Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Perceptive and meticulous, with a thorough understanding of human behavior. #LI-CLEGAL
