Mechanics – Dickinson, North Dakota

This is a full time position that is responsible for repairs along with all phases of truck and equipment maintenance. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodation.
This position is responsible for:

Performing routine and preventive maintenance and repair on all electric, diesel, and gasoline powered trucks and equipment.
Performing general service and maintenance on equipment, including trailers, forklifts, cranes, and small vehicles.
Inspecting trucks, equipment, and machinery to diagnose defects and verify repairs.
Mixing, utilizing, dispensing, and/or properly disposing of volatile compounds including fuels, lubricants, and solvents; reading and being knowledgeable of Material Safety Data Sheets for any such materials, as well as being knowledgeable of proper handling/disposal requirements for substances requiring specialized handling/disposal.
Performing other duties as assigned by the Shop Foreman and/or company representatives.

Minimum requirements include:

Two (2) years of related experience with the ability to provide own tools.
Welding and fabricating experience is required.
Diesel experience is preferred.
Possession of a valid driver’s license with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
Acceptable results of Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and drug/alcohol testing.
English language fluency, verbal and written.
Acceptable results of a pre-employment background check and drug/alcohol test.
