Maintenance Technician
A company in Wheeling, IL is looking for Maintenance Technicians to join their 1st or 2nd shift team. This is a DIRECT HIRE opportunity!
Requirements of the Maintenance Technician
· High School Diploma or GED
· 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
· Mechanically and Electrically inclined
· Ability to read and interpret blueprints
· Welding and hydraulic skills necessary
Responsibilities of the Maintenance Technician
· Perform routine preventative maintenance checks on all production equipment and machinery
· Replaces or repairs parts on machines such as bearings, filters, wiring, valves, gauges, and switches
· Dismantles devise to gain access to and remove defective parts
· Installs special functional and structural parts in devices
· Troubleshoots all electrical breakdowns and makes repairs
· Tests faulty equipment and applies knowledge of functional operation of electronic units and systems to diagnose cause of malfunction
· Aligns, adjusts, and calibrates equipment according to specifications
1st and 2nd shift available, DIRECT HIRE
Pay is $32.00 – $40.00 an hour, depending on experience
