Maintenance Mechanic

Full Time

Madden Industrial Craftsmen is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for a long-term, day shift role at a manufacturing company in Tualatin, OR. Under the direction of the Maintenance Manager, you will assist in trouble shooting, repairing and upkeep of all machines, tools and equipment.
PAY: $26-$32/hr
Maintenance Mechanic Responsibilities:

Electrical: troubleshoot or replace industrial electrical components such as switches, relays, contactors, fuses, motors, etc.
Hydraulic and Pneumatic: troubleshoot system components such as solenoids, valves, pumps, regulators, etc.
Mechanical: troubleshoot and repair industrial mechanical systems such as conveyors, gearboxes, rotary shafts, bearings, etc.
Set up and operate machine tool equipment in the maintenance area as well as basic operation of most production equipment such as drill presses, band saws, cut off saws, lathes, welding equipment as may be necessary to fabricate, repair and/or duplicate parts required to maintain and repair equipment.
Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings and equipment manuals.
Neatly and accurately record, interpret and apply required data.
Adhere to all safety standards.
Clean equipment, tools, etc. and surrounding area between jobs.

Maintenance Mechanic Qualifications:

3+ years of industrial maintenance experience required.
High School diploma or GED
Experience welding and machining
Skill in use of hand and power tools
Able to work 10 hour shifts.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Basic computer skills.
Reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and an insurable driving record.
Willing and available to work mandatory overtime when necessary including occasional Saturdays
Ability to pass drug test & pre-employment physical
