Full Time- 10 month fixed term position
This is a great opportunity for a skilled administrator to try out working in the University in a fast paced and friendly team. Although only short term you will get to be involved at the centre of student administration, supporting one of the University’s important areas of growth; on-line student learning.
The post-holder will carry out all necessary administrative duties to support the maintenance of student records, including module registration, programme enrolment, fee records and assessment tracking and recording of WGU Online programmes. They will be expected to contribute to other areas of Student Administration such as processing queries (staff, student and external), implementing Extenuating Circumstances process and procedures and maintaining accurate student records across various programmes including partnerships.
The ability to work accurately with large amounts of data, build professional relationships quickly and work in busy environment will all be assets, as will the skills in using spreadsheets and databases. Although only for a limited period this would provide an ideal opportunity for someone to try working in this busy area of the University, and employer that recruits throughout the year.
The ability to communicate in Welsh is desirable for this position.
