Eastridge Legal is recruiting an Employment Law attorney for a highly respected law firm in Diego.

Position summary

? Employment law attorney specializing in the defense of class action lawsuits

? Draft complex motions, including motions for summary judgment and oppositions to motions for class certification

? Lead settlement negotiations for class actions and single-plaintiff matters, including extensive mediation experience

? Take and defend depositions of named plaintiffs and opt-in plaintiffs, including witness preparation

? Attend court hearings in federal and state court

? Regularly counsel clients on employment matters and risk avoidance

Position requirements

? Admitted to the California bar

Minimum of three years of CA employment litigation experience

Strong writing/drafting/communication skills, pro-active, organization, calm demeanor, attention to detail, and the ability to work as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment
