As a QC Laboratory Assistant, you’ll be responsible for supporting both finished good and raw material release criteria within an ISO accredited laboratory environment. Successful performance of job duties allows testing schedules to be met, customer requirements are maintained, and departmental objectives are kept to a high standard.

This is a full time, permanent opportunity working Monday – Friday based at our Inchinnan (Glasgow site)

What will you do?

• Use of laboratory information management system to input data & supporting log in of finished goods & raw materials
• Stock up of all areas & daily clean down within the quality control department, supporting the QC 5S program
• Preparing samples to be sent to external laboratories for analysis
• Supports critical daily and weekly tasks such as, temperature checks, balance and pipette checks, TOC checks, & site water sampling
• Supporting archiving duties of raw data generated from all laboratories
• May support audit data retrieval environmental monitoring of the facility
• Other activities may require input from this role as the need arises and/or assigned

Who we are looking for:

• Has an HNC/HND within a scientific subject area or equivalent working experience
• Has a strong interest in pursuing science and is motivated to learn
• Some experience gained within a commercial environment is advantageous but is not essential as full training will be provided
• Fluency in the English language is essential for this role
