Harvest Mechanic
The harvest mechanic’s responsibility is to repair and maintain harvest machines, tractors and forklifts in the field and in the shop. The position is full time, year round, working 6 days per week.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
Competent welding skills
Knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems
Effective troubleshooting skills and systematically diagnose mechanical problems on harvest/farm equipment.
Operate forklifts, tractors and other harvest/farm equipment.
Ability to complete accurately and timely written documentation of maintenance records and work orders.
Ability to work independently in the field and also work in the shop as needed.
Ability to effectively communicate with field personnel.
Bilingual preferred (Spanish and English)
Possess a valid driver license and clean record.
Willingness to relocate to Yuma, Arizona from November thru March.
