Cape Romain Contractors, Inc. is hiring entry level positions for those who want to grow a career in the construction industry. Cape Romain Contractors has been in business for over 75 years; we specialize in bridge and marine construction. No pre-requisite experience is necessary.
If you are willing to come to work every day with a positive attitude and ready to learn, you will have the opportunity to gain trade skills in one or more of the following disciplines:
– Form Carpentry
– Welding and Fabrication
– Concrete Placement and Finishing
– Equipment Operation
– Pile Driving
– Tug and Barge operations
We offer formal and on the job training programs for some disciplines. Employees may test to earn industry recognized credentials and certificates.
Must be Comfortable working on floating equipment, at elevations as required, and in a marine environment.
Full-time, overtime as required, including Saturdays as needed. You must have reliable transportation to and from work. May be expected to travel as projects require.

All employees are required to pass a pre-employment Drug Screening Test.
Starting pay is based on experience
Health Insurance- Cape Romain Contractors pay 75% of health insurance premiums for employees and 30% of premiums for additional dependents.
Paid Time Off- We offer paid vacations, sick pay, and paid time off for all major holidays (Christmas, Thanksgiving, etc).
401K- Cape Romain Contractors matches 25%of employee contributions up to the first 5% of base pay.
Travel expenses- Cape Romain Contractors pays employees per diem for work that is 60+ miles from the main office.
