We are revolutionising how people view Caribbean food by offering a modern take on traditional recipes. If you’ve had a jerk burrito in Wembley, you most likely ordered it from us! Mama Jacq’s originally consisted of a mother, daughter and son trio; we have expanded to a team of brilliant cooks and front-of-house staff. We hold core family values with our staff and customers. We are looking for a kitchen team member/leader who is enthusiastic about food. As a team member, you’ll learn how to create Caribbean food using unique quality ingredients. Team for us means everyone working harmoniously to ensure the restaurant runs smoothly. ”Whenever in doubt, we will help you out!”
Our dream candidate will be someone who can adapt from a steady pace to a fast-paced environment. Situated near Wembley stadium and arena, amongst all the excitement, we can get busy on concert and event days.
Under 20s start: £8.00 per hour
Under 23s start: £9.50 per hour
Over 23 years start: £10.50 and above

Requirements:
-Must have a cheerful personality
-Must demonstrate excellent communication skills
-Must adhere to brand standards, food safety and health and safety policies
-Able to work under pressure and at a fast pace
Food Preparer Skills:
-Portion food and present it
-Prepare and heat food and raw items
-Package take-out food for delivery drivers and customers
-Marinating raw meat and safely storing them
Job Duties:
-Follow recipes and presentation specifications
-Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
-Clean and maintain station in practising good safety and sanitation
-Oversee kitchen operations
-Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes
-Operate an industrial dishwasher, washing dishes by hand when necessary
-Meeting dietary requirements where required
-Communicating effectively with front-of-house floater

Salary: £8.00-£11.50 per hour
