The Business Support Service provide efficient administrative and financial support to various teams across the Council. Business Support works flexibly to assist the services supported in meeting their objectives and priorities.
We are looking to recruit Business Support Assistants to join our busy Business Support Team.
Post 1 Business Support Assistant Hospital Discharge Team – Fixed Term until March 2024. Monday – Friday 36 hours per week, located at Whiston Hospital. There may be a requirement to work from Aintree Hospital on occasion.
The role will require you to work closely with a team of Social Workers and Assistant Care Managers who work as part of the Knowsley Hospital Discharge Team.
The key responsibilities would be to deal with telephone enquiries, updating and maintaining patient records/trackers as well as liaising and sharing sensitive and confidential information between third party agencies, as well as other general administration duties.
The successful candidate would be required to be availble to work between hours of 8:00am -5:00pm.
Post 2 – Business Support Assistant. Youth Offending Service – Permanent Monday – Friday 36.00 hours per week.
The role will require you to work within the Knowsley Youth Offending Service, which is a multi-disciplinary team which works with children and young people aged 10-17 years.
The key responsibilities would be to update and maintain client information, including initial contacts and referrals received from other agencies such as Police, Probation and Health & Social Care and to provide meeting support as well as other general administration duties.
The successful candidate would be required to be flexible to cover reception duties between 5:00pm-7:00 pm as and when required.
The ideal candidate would have experience of working within an administration environment with a good working knowledge of Microsoft packages together with excellent communication skills with the ability to prioritise competing and demanding workloads to meet challenging deadlines.
The ability to deal with matters of a sensitive nature is an essential part of the role.
