ASME Quality Manager

ASME Quality Manager position with a weld engineering degree or a certified welding inspector (CWI), or already in an ASME QC role as the manager or assistant, or working for a pressure vessel authorized inspection firm, would consider less than 3 years work experience. Any other qualifications (like an AISC structural steel inspector, non degree and not a CWI, etc.), 5 years + experience.
The successful candidate should be familiar with the ASME Code and welded fabrication of process and steam piping, firetube steam boilers and pressure vessels five feet in diameter and below in steel and alloy steel.
Familiarity with structural steel quality control would also be a plus, as our shop also engages in structural fabrication.
Direct hire position located in Ithaca, NY
Salary depending on experience: $ 70K – 90K
Experience: 3 -10 years work experience w/ASME

Pay: $70,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year

8 hour shift
Day shift
Monday to Friday
Weekend availability
